I don't even know what the point of having this blog is for us! I always come on and check others blogs but when it comes to updating ours I'm just so lazy! I guess part of the reason is that I think we don't ever do anything so there's nothing to update. Jordan and I have had numerous discussions over the last few weeks regarding our lack of well everything I guess. We just keep talking about how we didn't live up our "child-less" years enough and that we didn't do enough fun things. We look at others blogs who go on these crazy fun trips or always have these funny stories to tell. Sometimes it really gets to me and I get sad thinking we haven't done enough, but I have to remind myself and Jordan that we are choosing to go a different route I guess you could say. Jordan's one and only dream is to be a dentist, so for that last two years that is what we have focused on! He has spent every waking hour trying to make his dream a reality and with that has come our lack of well, again, everything. What I do have to say about our lack of "fun" "bloggable" activities however, is that I fall more and more in love with my husband everyday when I see how hard he is working to provide a comfortable future for our family. Now I could say you know, it's going to take you forever to finish school anyway, so take a semester off and work so we can go on a fun vacation. Or baby lets go to the movies tonight, blow off your homework. Or I can't tell you have many Saturday morning he pulls himself out of bed only to have me say "just call in sick this one day and lets hang-out together." He has worked for Wells Fargo for over two years and never once called in sick to work! Anyway, I'm ranting but I just wanted to say, that even though we never post anything on our blog worth anything, our time is coming!!! This will all be worth it in about 9 months when he's been accepted to dental school and he has accomplished his dream!!! So until then just know that we do do fun stuff I just don't see the need to broadcast to all of our stalkers!
Anywho, back to the purpose of this entry! I have only 8 weeks left before our little Sweet Pea comes! I know all you mothers out there can sympathize with the rollercoaster of emotions I am feeling right now. I just can't wait to meet her but on the other hand this has all just gone by way too fast! I've always heard that pregnancy is the slowest 10 months of your life, but I just can't get time to slow down for me! I feel like I can't really ever be ready because how do you prepare for something you have never encountered before? I still can't believe I'm old enough to even be a parent! And I'm older than most first time moms! I still need my own mommy most days! Speaking of my mommy, she will be so graciously at my beckncall for a few weeks once baby makes her arrival, and I am so excited! I don't know what I'd do without her.
We had our last ultra-sound on Friday and everything looks really good, baby is in the 53 percentile and if you know anything about my family and size, average is not a word we use very often. We are very frequently called above average in size, so I say wahoo! to 53 percentile! One thing I did find to be very discouraging however, was that apparently baby has enough hair to "put it in a ponytail" according to the tech. Now I know a lot of people would love to have a baby with a lot of hair, but not me. I have been wanting a bald little baby from the beginning. There's just something unnerving about a newborn with a full head of hair, it just kinda creeps me out! But apparently Jordans genes took center stage this time around. But I'll get my bald baby if it's the last thing I do! I haven't posted any pictures in forever and to be completely honest it's because I don't want anyone seeing Jordan and I at our hugest unless totally necessary! But I will post at least one belly picture hopefully before this is all over. And I do have a few from my shower and some other random things but seeing as how I'm at work doing this extremely long entry I don't have the equipment to upload any pictures! So, just a lot of reading for now.

hey i was born with a full head of hair and i think i was a pretty dang cute baby!! :)
Aw so do you love that I'm posting a comment on your blog as if I don't talk to you enough during our home teaching sessions? Ha ha hopefully you're not sick of me yet.
I totally understand how you feel about not doing anything cool. I graduated from ASU in 2005 and thought "Whoo I'm done with school FOREVER" and yeah...4 years later...here I am....still kinda in school since Brenden isn't done (He's in his 8th year). And that's all we've done our entire lives together. Go to school. ha ha so don't feel bad. And your guys' time is definitely coming! Whenever I look at all the people going on vacation around me, (which makes me go home and cry....for real...and you know it's true since you know my emotional stability right now ha ha) I just make myself think that it must mean that our time will be that much better since I've had to endure all this waiting. And that's totally how it will be for you guys.
You may not have been on a lot of vacations, but I must say that when you and Jordan come over we can always see the awesome chemistry you guys have. So vacation-smacations. At least you guys have a beautiful relationship. That will get you through anything. Even the hard annoying times of life.
Trust me, come 8 weeks, you will have plenty to blog about. Yes, you have good times just the two of you, but truley, you cant even imagine whats up ahead. There is nothing like giving your baby the first bath, together. Or sitting at the dinner table, feeding her (i dont think I ever found out exactly what you were having) green bean baby food for the first time. Or being so excited to call him at school cuz you just discovered that the first tooth has finally come in. Oh what fun memories you will have from here on out. Im so excited for you. There is nothing better than being a Mom!
That's one thing I don't like about blogs/facebook. It seems like everyone is always trying to show off how cool they are and all the interesting things they are doing. So you're not the only one who feels that way...
By the way, we're excited for the baby coming. Tatum and I are always here to help babysit so you guys can go out and do something
hey ali, you probably don't remember me, but we were at a party together at Rachel and Larons and ever since I stalk your blog sometimes and I totally feel the same way about reading other people's blogs sometimes. The other day I told Dallin that we weren't cute cause we never do anything romantic.... well we do, I just don't post about it. and we don't go on crazy fun trips every weekend. we aren't having a baby and he isn't in school but I guess it just isn't in our cards right now, so thanks for venting, it made me realize I am not alone! good luck with the baby, you'll have to post pictures cause I wanna see her!
Oh my gosh, you're right, it did go so fast! Congrats on your soon arriving little girl, I'm sure that she will be positively precious, furry or not! Also, getting into school and being responsible is totally under-rated, and I don't think people give you enough credit for working your booty off! My motto for the past four years that we've been married and been nowhere but California is: School sucks and is hard but it is temporary, and not being financially secure for the rest of your lives would be even harder and suckier! And if the next nine months goes as fast for you as the previous almost nine did, you guys will be moving right along!
Oh, and if my previous comment wasn't long enough, I have more to add. Once you get into school, it seriously flies by, and there is NOTHING better than having a definite end in sight. Also, will you ask Jordan to hire me when he graduates? With the current market, I'm not sure I'll have a job by then...not joking, wish I was. :{
